This is the third official history of the Atomic Energy Commission written by Richard G. Hewlett and Jack H. Holl. It covers the Eisenhower presidency containing important contributions related to the atoms for peace initiative, disarmament initiatives in the 1950s, and developments in the US nuclear arsenal.
