This document is a letter from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London regarding the phasing out of COCOM (Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Export Controls) and the establishment of a new export control arrangement. It includes an invitation to the first meeting of the Working Group on Guidelines in Paris on December 6, 1993.

The meeting, chaired by Mr. Sten Lundbo, Deputy Director General of the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take place at the COCOM Quarters in Paris. It is a full-day meeting, starting at 9:15 a.m., and a lunch will be provided for heads of delegations.

The discussions at the meeting will be based on a document distributed to all COCOM countries during the week of November 29 to December 2. The letter requests that COCOM countries inform the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the names and functions of their delegates by December 2.
