The Belgian government hosted the second meeting of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) in Brussels from June 25 to 27, 1991. The meeting focused on discussing specific tasks related to nuclear non-proliferation. The working group, chaired by the United States, addressed the examination of national and multilateral arrangements for controlling nuclear-related dual-use commodities. They also aimed to agree on an arrangement that would best serve the objectives of non-proliferation. A detailed agenda for the meeting was to be provided by the U.S. chair at a later date.
