The French authorities have refused to authorize the sale of unprocessed uranium hexafluoride particles to Argentina. The substance is listed under Item J.J of the equipment and technology annex of the missile technology control documents. Other states adhering to the non-proliferation regime will also be informed of this decision. The document requests that the British authorities respond according to the mechanisms outlined in the documents adopted in 1967 if approached by Argentina for a similar transfer of material.
